The occupation continues to detain the bodies of (12) prisoners
The Palestinian Prisoners Club said that, 40 days after the martyrdom of Sheikh Khader Adnan, the occupation continues its crime by detaining his body, along with (11) prisoners from among the martyrs of the captive movement, and dozens of martyrs.
The martyr Sheikh Khader Adnan, who is from the town of Arraba / Jenin, rose after a decision by the Israeli occupation to assassinate him premeditatedly through medical neglect, and left him in his cell for 86 days of a hunger strike that he waged in rejection of his arbitrary arrest.
The occupation forces arrested him on February 5, 2023, and he announced his hunger strike from the moment of his arrest, and he rose on May 2, 2023.
The martyr Adnan was the most prominent person who faced the occupation with his empty stomachs over the years, as he carried out (6) strikes, most of which were in refusal of his administrative detention.
This was his will: "If it is my testimony, do not allow the occupiers to dissect my body, imprison me near my father, and write on my grave here, the poor Abdullah Khader Adnan, your prayers for him, his parents and the Muslims."
The Captive Club called for the need to strive seriously to develop a comprehensive national plan that would lead to the liberation of the bodies of the martyrs, and we affirm our demand for the need to put pressure on the occupation to stop this ongoing crime against our martyrs and their families.
