Updated | Two Israeli soldiers were wounded in a run-over operation south of Nablus
On Monday evening, two Israeli soldiers were injured when a Palestinian vehicle collided with them near the Hawara checkpoint, south of Nablus.
According to the Hebrew Channel 12, one of the soldiers was wounded in his lower extremities, and his condition was described as moderate, and the other was in the pelvic area, and his injuries were described as minor. They were transferred to a hospital for treatment.
An Israeli military spokesman said he was investigating the motives of the event.
The Israeli occupation forces closed Za'tara and Hawara checkpoints in the area after the event.
Later, settler websites stated that the driver of the vehicle had been arrested.
