Israel holding the bodies of 12 martyrs, Palestinian Prisoners Club says
Ramallah - Israel's occupation authorities continue to hold the bodies of 12 martyrs, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said on Thursday, after they released the body of a teenager killed by police to his family.
The body of 17-year-old Wadi' Abu Ramuz, who was killed by Israeli police in January in Jerusalem, has now been returned to his family.
Among the bodies is that of Khader Adnan, who died in May after a three-month long hunger strike against his administrative detention. His death spurred Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip to fire rockets toward Israel.
The remaining Palestinians whose bodies are held include Anis Douleh, who died in 1980; Aziz Oweisat, who died in 2018, Faris Baroud, Nassar Taqatqa, and Bassam Sayeh, who died in 2019, Sadi Gharabli and Kamal Abu Waer, who died in 2020, Sami al-Amour, who died in 2021.
The three remaining Palestinians - Daoud Al-Zubeidi, Mohammad Maher Turkman and Nasser Abu Hamid - all died in 2022,
