Secretly moving the yeshiva in Homesh

In the early morning hours of Monday, settlers moved the religious school in the Homesh outpost, between Nablus and Jenin, to a new location within the outpost, with the aim of bypassing a judicial decision to remove it because it is on private Palestinian land.

According to the Hebrew website Ynet, a group of settlers evacuated the religious school in the outpost from its old location, and moved it at night and secretly, out of the sight of the Palestinians, to the depth of the outpost, which is described as "state land."

This step comes two months after the Israeli Knesset approved the cancellation of the "disengagement" bill from the areas in the northern West Bank, which would allow the outpost to be legalized and officially turned into a settlement.

The religious school was moved a few hundred meters from its old location, and caravans were installed for it instead of the tents that were erected in its old location.

The move took place with the approval of the Israeli government staff, especially the Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, and the Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich.
