Palestinian nationals from Khartoum arrive in Egypt

The Embassy of the State of Palestine to the Arab Republic of Egypt announced, at dawn today, Thursday, the arrival of buses carrying students and citizens of our people coming from Sudan to the Arab Republic of Egypt through the Arqin border crossing, where 194 citizens are heading to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah land crossing, accompanied by the embassy representative. And 29 citizens to Cairo International Airport to move to their next destination.


The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Egypt, Diab Al-Louh, affirmed that the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Egypt made intensive contacts with the concerned Egyptian agencies in order to transfer citizens from Khartoum to the Gaza Strip via the Arab Republic of Egypt, stressing the cooperation of the Egyptian agencies by providing Egyptian security insurance accompanied by the buses that accompanied them. Embassy delegates from the Sudanese-Egyptian crossing to the Rafah land crossing.


The Embassy of the State of Palestine in Cairo thanked and appreciated the Egyptian government and its concerned agencies for their keenness to secure the exit of the Palestinian returnees, and to overcome all obstacles until their safe return to their families and relatives.


Al-Louh affirmed the continuation of the work of the Crisis Management Cell at the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Cairo, under the supervision of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Riyad Al-Maliki, and full coordination and cooperation with the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Sudan.
