The movement said in a statement, on the occasion of the Prisoner’s Day, “The Prisoner’s Day is not just deaf pictures and loud slogans, but rather a day for sounding the alarm that our bleeding has not stopped. To seek to rescue 4,900 prisoners from prisons, including 31 women, 160 children, and more than 1,000 administrative detainees, including hundreds of patients and the elderly.
She added, "The prisoner is one of the symbols of our living cause, and he remained - and still is - representing the living, patient, patient pillar of this cause, despite the fierce war waged by the occupation against him and its failed attempts to detach him from his cause and cast him into oblivion."
And she continued: "The basic role of the prisoner is to defend his sanctities, on top of which is the place of the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace -, for which he gave years of his life, and this role will continue and will not stop until the completion of the comprehensive liberation of the prisoners and the prisoners, and we will remain The staunch freedom fighters to defend our just causes, until the end of the occupation and its expulsion from all of Palestine.
The captive movement indicated that the Israeli occupation sought and continues to seek permanent aggression against the prisoners and captives, and with the grace of God Almighty, the prisoners succeeded with their steadfastness and patience and the support of our people in repelling the aggression, and our valiant resistance and the leadership of our people were able to curb the aggression of the occupation against the prisoners.
She emphasized that the prisoners’ message to all segments of our people is that the issue of the inclusive prisoners and their unity that they established inside the prisons in the face of the jailer requires all Palestinians to end the division and confront the occupation united in all arenas. Necessity precedes the inevitability of national unity.
