The Israeli occupation forces continue, for the fifth consecutive day, to tighten their military measures at the Hamra checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley .

Local sources reported that the occupation soldiers at the checkpoint stopped the citizens' vehicles and searched them thoroughly, and checked the identity cards of the passengers, which caused a suffocating traffic jam.

The same sources added that the occupation forces closed the secondary road that citizens use as an alternative to the main road in the event of the closure of the checkpoint.

It is noteworthy that the occupation forces closed the dirt roads in Sahl Atouf, which is an outlet for farmers to reach their lands, east of Street (60) in the Jordan Valley.

For five days, the occupation authorities have imposed a siege on the Jordan Valley.
