Syrians killed after Israeli raids on Damascus and its south

Two Syrians were killed, after midnight, when a missile hit a glass factory in the Al-Kiswah area in Damascus countryside.

There were conflicting reports as to whether the missile that fell on the factory was a Syrian interceptor missile, or it could be one of the Israeli missiles that hit several targets in southern Damascus.

A Syrian military source said that the Israeli aggression was carried out with missile barrages from the Golan , targeting some points in the vicinity of Damascus and the southern region, and most of the missiles were intercepted and shot down, indicating that the Syrians were killed and some material losses occurred.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that an Israeli missile targeted the Tal al-Sahn radar point of the Syrian army, east of the village of Lahwiya in the countryside of As-Suwayda.

The Damascus International Airport area, the Iranian compound near Sayeda Zeinab area, and the Al-Maamel area in Al-Kiswah were also targeted.

He pointed out that Israel has targeted Syrian territory 10 times since the beginning of next year 2023.
