The extremist Ben Gvir sets up an office for himself in the Old City
Translation by "Jerusalem" dot com - The far-right Knesset member, Itamar Ben Gvir, set up an office this evening, Wednesday, in what is known as "Army" Square, about 100 meters from the Damascus Gate area in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.
According to the correspondent of the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz, Ben Gvir put a small table in the place, and said that he would put up a tent and stay in the place until he was allowed to raise the Israeli flag and reach the Damascus Gate, even if he had to sleep in the place, and that this would continue until the end of the "Passover" evening. Tomorrow is Thursday.
Ben Gvir said earlier that he will arrive at Damascus Gate, if not today, then tomorrow or at any time, and that he will not surrender to prevent him from doing so.
The Israeli Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, had ordered Ben Gvir to be prevented from reaching the Damascus Gate, in order to prevent the situation from exploding.
