Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh said that the Security Council will hold today, Monday, a special session on Palestine, adding, "We hope that the Council will rise to the level of the suffering of the Palestinian people and reach an implementable decision based on providing international protection." for our people.

At the beginning of the weekly session, today, Monday, Shtayyeh stressed that whoever defends Israel's aggression against our people is a partner in this aggression.

He pointed out that the session is dedicated to discussing the aggression on the Gaza Strip, its consequences, and the health and service needs of the sector, among others.

Shtayyeh also thanked the Arab Republic of Egypt for its efforts to spare the Palestinian blood in Gaza and stop the aggression against our people, and he saluted the steadfastness of the people of the Gaza Strip.

He said that this barbaric aggression against the Gaza Strip, accompanied by storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque and repeated invasions of Palestinian cities, is not only electoral propaganda in Israel, but it is a systematic act of aggression carried out by a hateful machine whose aim is to strike at our cohesion and sow despair in the hearts of our people, and strike at our national project of liberation and ending the occupation. But we will remain loyal to Palestine and to our liberation project on our land and our sanctities and the embodiment of our Palestinian state on the ground.
