Prisoners Authority: The occupation uses a policy of force and severe beating against young men during their arrest
Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said today, Wednesday, that the Israeli occupation authorities are still using a policy of force and beating against young men during their arrest process, and are committing daily violations and methods of torture that are completely inconsistent with all international norms and covenants. It provides for the protection of human rights and respect for his freedoms.
The commission revealed, through its lawyer, Ahmed Siam, the testimonies of detainees who were beaten at the time of their arrest and interrogation.
Among them is the case of the prisoner, Jabr Ribhi Al-Badawi (18 years old) / Hebron, where a large force of the occupation arrested him at 3 am after they raided his house, searched him and turned his contents upside down, after which they took him to the "Etzion Investigation Center".
The authority added that the prisoner suffers from severe and unbearable pain, and the prison administration still refuses to transfer him to civil hospitals to monitor his health condition.
As for the case of the prisoner Majdi Abu Rahma (35 years old), the occupation forces arrested him after they raided his house and severely beat him with hands and feet and rifle butts all over his body, after which they took him to Ofer Prison, where he is still languishing.
It is noteworthy that the prisoner Abu Rahma is a former detainee who spent 5 years inside the occupation prisons. He is married and has 3 children.
