Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Prisoners Affairs revealed today, Wednesday, that the number of prisoners and detainees from the Palestinian security services has reached 355 detainees, distributed among all the detention centers and prisons of the Israeli occupation .

In a statement, the Commission indicated that a large percentage of the prisoners and detainees of the security forces and members of the security services were sentenced to high sentences and life sentences, which were based on the principle of deterrence, because they were at the forefront of those who rose up to defend our people and confront the crimes of the occupation, specifically at the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Intifada.

She explained that targeting the headquarters of the Palestinian National Authority, destroying its headquarters and institutions, and arresting its cadres, came within the policy of weakening it, and taking revenge for the honorable stand of the heroes of the security services in confronting the occupation army’s incursions into all Palestinian areas.

The Commission confirmed that the attack is still continuing on all segments of the Palestinian people, as the past few months have witnessed a large targeting of members of the security services, whether by assassination or arrest, specifically in the governorates of Nablus and Jenin, in an escalation that Israel will soon bear responsibility for, in the event of the continuation of its crimes against the Palestinian people.

The commission saluted all our male and female prisoners and their families, headed by the prisoners and detainees of the security services, who take an oath of loyalty to their people and their homeland, and that they confirm every day their adherence to the demands and freedom of their people, and that their lives and lives are sacrificed for this.
