Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health , Dr. Wael Al-Sheikh with a delegation from the Medical Aid Society for the Palestinians. Developing a breast cancer treatment program.

Al-Sheikh said that the meeting, which was held today, Thursday, at the Ministry's headquarters in Ramallah, also discussed strengthening the capabilities of the staff working in the breast cancer treatment unit at Rafidia Hospital, developing protocols for treating the disease in Palestine, and implementing awareness campaigns for early diagnosis of it.

The meeting was attended by Acting Director General of Hospitals from the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Khatib, and oncologist Dr. Mahmoud Nasura, Director of International Cooperation, Maria Al-Aqraa, and Coordinator of Technical Affairs in the Office of the Undersecretary, Prof. Abdel Raouf Saleem.
