The occupation continues to detain the body of the martyr Saadia Farajallah
Ramallah - exclusive to "Al Quds" dot com - The Israeli occupation authorities, by order of the "Shin Bet", continue to detain the body of the captive martyr Saadia Faraj Allah (68 years) from the town of Ithna, west of Hebron, since her death as a result of medical negligence on the second of this month.
The head of the Commission for the Affairs of Detainees and Ex-Prisoners, Major General Qadri Abu Bakr, told Al-Quds.com: “The commission submitted, at the request of her family, a request to autopsy the body of the martyr, and this was done, in conjunction with submitting a request to hand over the body, and despite the court’s approval to hand it over, the occupation police objected. And I requested approval from the occupation intelligence (Shin Bet), as the occupation authorities insist on seizing the body,” stressing that the lawyers will file a new case to demand the handover of the body of the martyr.
Abu Bakr indicated that there is no approval by the occupation authorities to release the body of the martyr Saadia Farajallah so far, and there is insistence on holding the body, bringing the number of martyr prisoners whose bodies are being held to 10 martyrs.
The preliminary results of the autopsy of the martyr Saadia Farajallah (Matar), who died in "Damoon" prison, were that the death was due to medical and medical causes, according to what was announced by the Prisoners' Authority more than a week ago.
The commission indicated that the preliminary results of the autopsy show that the body of the martyr was free of any injuries or bruises, and that the death resulted from pathological and health causes, noting that the death of the captive Farajallah was announced about two weeks ago, after she fell in Al-Fura Square in Damon Prison, and she was transferred to a hospital. An Israeli civilian, and she was in a coma.
The autopsy took place at the Israeli Institute of Forensic Medicine, "Abu Kabir", in the presence of Karim Ajwa, the lawyer for the Affairs of Detainees and Ex-Prisoners, and the forensic doctor assigned by the Palestinian Ministry of Justice, Muhammad Shalaby.
The authority confirmed that it is awaiting the results of the final medical report, which will be based on examinations that will determine the real reasons for the death of the captive, Farajallah, noting that the occupation government and the administration of "Damon" prison bear full responsibility for her death.
It is worth mentioning that the martyr Faraj Allah is from the town of Ithna, west of Hebron, and the occupation army arrested her on 12/18/2021, after a settler beat her near the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, and she is a mother of eight children, and with her elevation, the number of martyrs prisoners in the occupation prisons rises to 230 martyrs since 1967.
