In his speech during a national conference to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the assassination of the former Secretary-General of the Popular Front , Abu Ali Mustafa , who was assassinated by the occupation army at the beginning of the second Al-Aqsa Intifada, Mezher praised the virtues of the martyr and his role in national unity, struggle, and others.

Mezher referred to the continuation of the occupation in its aggressive, Judaization, settlement and other policies, and its attempt to reduce the conflict in humanitarian and economic crises, and its attempts to tear the Palestinian situation into territoriality, and erase the achievements of the battle of "Saif al-Quds", praising the spirit of resistance among the Palestinian people and their refusal to surrender, achieving resistance to biases and accumulating strength, And thwarting the occupation's plans by isolating itself in Gaza, Jenin or Nablus alone.

Mezher recounted many points that he considered challenges and part of the chronic crises facing the Palestinian cause, which were represented in the inability of the political forces to translate the struggle and field unity, the inability to confront breaking the siege, the tools of financial and political blackmail and donor funds, and the need not to acquiesce or make any concessions in return for the continuation of American and international support, in addition to the inability of the ruling authorities in Gaza and the West Bank to provide the requirements of steadfastness, and everyone's failure to find a unified body of struggle throughout Palestine after the battle of "Saif al-Quds".

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Popular Front stressed the need to develop paths of struggle at all levels, by preserving the resistance and its unity, and developing the work of the joint operations room into a unified national resistance front, which defines the tactics of the resistance, and the commitment to liberating the prisoners and that there are no red lines for this goal. And not to be silent in front of any attempts to harm the rights of martyrs and prisoners, and to strengthen work for comprehensive national unity on the basis of a struggle program to confront the occupation and abandon the disastrous Oslo agreement, and to work to form an elected Palestinian National Council, and to confront all attempts to dismantle the Liberation Organization, and to restore consideration for its national charter, and affirm It is the sole and legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, its protection and the prevention of exclusivity in it.

Mezher called on the responsible authorities in Gaza and the West Bank to strengthen the steadfastness of citizens, in light of the wrong policies that undermine their steadfastness, calling for setting up a real social program that preserves the rights of citizens, especially marginalized groups, and for there to be social justice.

Mezher touched on the campaign of arrest and prosecution of the Front's cadres, stressing that it will not weaken it, but rather make it stronger.
