Israeli sources rule out that Bennett will join new parties in the upcoming elections

Translation by "Jerusalem" dot com - Israeli sources denied today, Tuesday, that Naftali Bennett will join new parties in the upcoming elections, after announcing the dissolution of the Knesset yesterday.

Bennett's Yamina party, Avir Kar, a member of the Knesset, said that the latter will not leave political life, and will run in the upcoming elections within Yamina.

Meanwhile, Merav Cohen, a member of Knesset for the There is a Future party, ruled out that Bennett be included in her party's list for the upcoming elections.

Cohen said in an interview with the Hebrew website Ynet, "I do not think that we and our right have the same ideology. We can sit in a government and cooperate within common denominators."

In a related context, Yair Golan, Deputy Minister of Economy, said that he will decide in the coming days whether he will run for the leadership of the Meretz party, after holding meetings with those close to him.

For his part, Knesset Member Eli Cohen of the Likud Party said that his party will achieve a great victory in the upcoming elections, and with a majority that will enable it to establish a government.

On the other hand, Israeli sources expected that the leader of the Shas party, Aryeh Deri, would return to the political arena and run in the next elections, after he was forced to resign recently in agreement with the Public Prosecution after a guilty plea bargain by admitting to illegal actions.

In the context, Bennett instructed the head of the National Security Council, Eyal Kholta, and his military secretary, Avi Gil, to prepare a broad and in-depth plan that would address the main security and political issues on the agenda, in preparation for the date of the Prime Minister's rotation, "Lapid."
