Settler Terrorism... Crimes Without Punishment

The gangs of foreign settlers continue their rampage and organized terrorism, supported by the occupation government and its army, which provides all support and protection for these gangs that attack families, steal land and what is on it, and seize fields and orchards throughout the Palestinian West Bank from north to south. Day after day, we see an increase in the pace of assaults, killing, confiscation, oppression, and persecution that is beyond description and imagination, because what the settlers do is too heinous to be written, narrated, or told. In the face of all that happens, the Palestinian tries to survive to protect his property as much as he can, for he is unarmed of all means of self-defense, and he also finds no one to defend him and prevent the evil of the settlers and their practices. In the face of the occupation's arrogance, the Palestinian is forbidden from defending himself, as soldiers stand armed with equipment and weapons to protect settler terrorism and their criminal operations.A bitter reality and shameful global silence in the face of all that is happening, for there is no ugliness more hideous than the behavior of the settlers who steal the property of citizens who have nothing but patience and steadfastness, and who try to ward off the dangers lurking around them as a result of the systematic policy supported by the poles of the far right. In the race for the Knesset to win votes, the pace of threats has increased from the likes of Ben Gvir, Smotrich, and others who use Palestinian blood and their right to their land as a means to win voters' votes in a hateful election campaign, based on promises, threats, encroachment, annexation, and Judaization.The world that sees and witnesses settler terrorism and contents itself with condemnation and denunciation is a world complicit in the crime, because duty dictates that it intervene to protect the people of the land from what these foreigners are doing. These settlers are escalating their attacks and continuing their rampage, beating and killing anyone who stands to protect their home, family, and field. Why does the world remain silent time after time and stand helpless to apply international law and international resolutions that consider settlements illegal and unlawful? And when can the international community intervene to uphold truth and justice, and implement all resolutions issued by the Security Council to prosecute and hold accountable the perpetrators for the crimes they have committed and are committing?The continuation of this absolute silence will only lead to further escalation and violations, and it will remain a stain on the forehead of the international community unless it is accompanied by practical positions and measures and decisive and urgent intervention to put an end to these crimes while providing protection for the Palestinian people.
