Israeli occupation forces escalated their aerial attacks via drones on various areas in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of three citizens, including a child, and the injury of about 19 others since yesterday afternoon, Tuesday. Medical sources confirmed that the shelling focused on areas that were classified as safe zones or outside direct military operation areas, which constitutes a clear violation of existing understandings.
In the details of the aggression, an Israeli drone targeted an electric bicycle in the Al-Mawasi area, which is crowded with displaced people west of Khan Yunis city in the southern Strip, resulting in three martyrs and 17 injuries of varying severity. Ambulances transported the victims to nearby field hospitals amid a state of panic among residents who face repeated targeting in their displacement areas.
In the northern Strip, local sources reported that a citizen was critically injured due to shelling that targeted the roof of a house near Abu Sharh roundabout in the Faluja area west of Jabalia camp. This coincided with a similar raid carried out by an occupation drone targeting a house in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood north of Gaza City, resulting in another serious injury among civilians.
In a related context, rescue teams were able to recover the body of a martyr who fell earlier due to Israeli shelling that targeted the vicinity of Kuwait roundabout in the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City. The body was transferred to Al-Ma'madani Hospital, while reports indicate that search operations for missing persons under the rubble and in inaccessible border areas are ongoing.
Data issued by the Ministry of Health in Gaza indicates that the pace of Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement has escalated alarmingly, with the death toll since October 2025 reaching about 1053 martyrs and 3406 injured. These numbers add to the bloody record of the ongoing aggression since October 2023, which has exceeded 73,000 martyrs and more than 173,000 injured.
On the ground, occupation forces continue to impose their control over large areas of the Strip, with reports indicating the Israeli army's dominance over more than 70% of the geographical area by shifting what is known as the 'Yellow Line' westward. This was accompanied by systematic demolition operations of residential buildings in Khan Yunis and Al-Tuffah neighborhood, in addition to continuous artillery shelling that targeted residential neighborhoods in Rafah city.
On the political and logistical front, field sources observed the arrival of vehicles and equipment belonging to the International Stability Force in the Gaza Strip, as part of the implementation of US President Donald Trump's ceasefire plan. The Peace Council published photos documenting the entry of logistical equipment that is supposed to contribute to the separation of forces and the securing of humanitarian aid.
Hazem Qassem, the spokesman for the Hamas movement, expressed the movement's hope that the arrival of these forces would be a real prelude to stopping Israeli violations and protecting civilians. Qassem called on the Peace Council to move towards the actual implementation of the provisions of the war-ending plan, ensuring the withdrawal of the occupation army from all areas it has infiltrated during the past period.
The movement stressed that any future arrangements must include the introduction of the National Committee for the Administration of the Strip and the immediate start of comprehensive reconstruction operations. Palestinian sources confirmed that the destruction of 90% of the civilian infrastructure requires doubled international efforts, with the necessity of obliging the occupation to open crossings and facilitate the entry of relief and medical convoys in a sustainable and unconditional manner.
Implementing the war cessation plan must begin with the introduction of the National Committee for the Administration of the Strip, providing real relief to the population, and obliging the occupation to full withdrawal.
