Doctors Without Borders sounds the alarm: Gaza injuries triple daily.

Doctors Without Borders announced that the number of injured Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip has tripled daily since the start of operations at the aid distribution centers run by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation," which receives support from the American and Israeli occupation.

Speaking about the catastrophic state of health services in the sector, the organization's medical coordinator in Gaza, Mohammed Abu Mughaysib, stated that the health system was weak before the aggression, and now only a barely functioning structure remains.

Abu Mughaysib pointed out that the food distribution points supported by the occupation have turned into killing zones, contributing to a daily influx of casualties that has tripled compared to what it was before the establishment of those centers.

He also added that many of the injured lose their lives before reaching hospitals, suffering from severe injuries such as amputations, severe infections, and shattered bones, which require urgent surgery and intensive care.

Abu Mughaysib confirmed that surgical and intensive care services have been significantly affected due to the ongoing aggression, as the remaining hospitals in Gaza collapse under the pressure of the increasing number of injured.

He emphasized the importance of an immediate ceasefire and the provision of sustainable medical and humanitarian access to save what can be saved in the sector, warning that without it, there will be nothing left to save, whether for hospitals, patients, or the future.

Since May 27, the occupying state has begun implementing a plan to distribute aid through the "Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation," which has been rejected by the United Nations, resulting in the deaths of 1,924 Palestinians and injuries to more than 14,288 others.

The genocide being perpetrated by the occupying state since October 7, 2023, includes killing, starvation, and destruction, ignoring international calls and the International Court of Justice's orders to stop these violations.

This genocide has resulted in the martyrdom of 61,897 Palestinians and 155,660 injured, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 9,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced, leading to a famine that has claimed the lives of 251 people, including 108 children.
