"Gaza Interior: Israel sponsors aid thieves as part of a starvation engineering policy."

The Ministry of Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip accused the Israeli occupation of sponsoring groups of thieves who are looting humanitarian aid trucks. This accusation comes amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in the martyrdom of many civilians and the targeting of aid security personnel.

In an official statement, the ministry condemned the occupation's insistence on continuing the chaos in the entry of limited amounts of aid, pointing out that the occupation is committing massacres against tribal and civilian aid security committees. Recent airstrikes have resulted in the martyrdom of 11 aid security personnel.

According to the government media office, the occupation has allowed the entry of only 1,334 aid trucks out of the 9,000 trucks that were needed, meaning that only 14% of the actual needs of the Strip have been met. This situation exacerbates the suffering of Palestinians in the besieged Strip.

The Ministry of Interior clarified that the targeting of aid security personnel is part of the starvation engineering policy practiced by Tel Aviv, depriving tens of thousands of Palestinian families of access to food. The ministry called on the international community to pressure the occupation to allow aid to reach those who deserve it.

Reports indicate that famine in Gaza is causing deaths due to malnutrition, despite the entry of limited amounts of aid. The World Food Programme has warned that a third of Gaza's population has not eaten for several days, reflecting the catastrophic humanitarian situation.

Since the beginning of the aggression, Israel, with American support, has committed genocide in Gaza, resulting in more than 61,000 martyrs and 154,000 injured, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons. These figures reflect the scale of the humanitarian disaster faced by Palestinians in the besieged Strip.
