The Palestinian people are subjected to a continuous genocide by the Israeli occupation, and what is happening specifically in the Gaza Strip represents a humanitarian tragedy and a catastrophe that the mind cannot fathom, as well as organized terrorism. The ongoing systematic policy of starvation, which becomes harsher day by day, is nothing but a form of genocide being perpetrated against an unarmed people through the tools of siege and slow death under false and misleading names managed by the Israeli occupation with direct support from the American administration and with shameful international silence.

President Trump's contempt for the world and his statement that the Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, is trustworthy and responsible for distributing aid confirms the involvement of the American administration in the crimes of starvation and genocide and plans for displacement. The United States can no longer be considered an honest broker capable of continuing its mediation role, and the American administration must review these weak and unrealistic policies.

The system of death traps claims the lives of dozens of the starving daily, which did not come from nowhere but rather as a precise implementation of a comprehensive plan aimed at crushing the will of the Palestinian people and breaking their steadfastness through starvation, intimidation, and humiliation. This policy, based on starving civilians and depriving them of the essentials of life, is nothing but another face of the war crimes being committed in cold blood under a political cover and American immunity.

The martyrdom of more than 147 Palestinians from starvation, all of whom are children and infants, is a stain of shame on the forehead of humanity and a damning evidence of the horrific humanitarian scene being managed under the auspices of the occupation and those who support it politically and militarily. The attempts of the Israeli right-wing government to deny the existence of famine are nothing but a cheap escape forward and a blatant expression of a racist ideology that does not see the Palestinian people as human beings deserving of life.

What Gaza is witnessing is not an emergency disaster but a systematic project for the displacement of the residents of the Strip and their forced push into the unknown within the plans of the extremist right that treats the existence of Palestinians as an obstacle that must be removed. Furthermore, the silence of the international community and its inaction to this moment is a moral and legal complicity that reflects the collapse of the international system in protecting peoples under occupation.

The Palestinian people are paying a heavy price as a result of the policies of occupation and the international community's disregard for the ongoing violations in the complete absence of international institutions, especially the International Committee of the Red Cross, which is required to intensify its efforts to deliver urgent aid to the Gaza Strip without restrictions, activate its role as a guarantor of the Geneva Conventions, and continue its work in the scope of protecting civilians and monitoring the conditions of Palestinian detainees in the occupation's prisons, especially in light of the detention of hundreds of them in secret places deprived of visits and contact with their families. The committee must resume its visits to the Israeli occupation prisons and pressure to ensure humane treatment for the prisoners.

The time has come to declare the Gaza Strip an internationally recognized disaster area, followed by immediate international intervention under the supervision of the United Nations to save what remains of our people who are being killed every day either by rockets, starvation, or betrayal. The responsibility to protect Palestinian civilians is no longer merely moral but also legal and binding according to the rules of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. There must be intensified international action to achieve a permanent ceasefire, confront the practices of the occupation, and pressure for the protection of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the complete end of the Israeli aggression in preparation for achieving a just and comprehensive peace based on the decisions of international legitimacy.
