Jordanian government: Working for Palestine does not involve targeting national stability.

Jordanian government spokesman Mohammad al-Momani said, "Working for Palestine does not involve targeting national stability," but rather by standing behind the Jordanian leadership, army, and security services.

According to the official Jordanian news agency Petra, Al-Momani stressed that King Abdullah II's positions are "firm and unwavering in defending the rights of the Palestinian people and supporting their steadfastness in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza, using all political, diplomatic, and humanitarian tools."

Al-Momani explained that Jordan's position on the Palestinian issue is clear and consistent, and is based on defending the Palestinians' right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The Jordanian government spokesman indicated that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on Palestinian lands represents his country's highest interest.

This month, Jordanian authorities announced the arrest of 16 individuals they said were involved in plots aimed at sowing chaos within the country.

Jordan explained that these plots included the possession of explosives and firearms, a project to manufacture drones, and the recruitment and training of individuals inside and outside the Kingdom.

Later, Jordanian Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya announced a ban on all activities of the Muslim Brotherhood, deeming it an illegal organization.
