The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Thursday that its flour supplies in the Gaza Strip had run out, leaving only 250 food parcels in its warehouses two days ago.
In its latest update on the situation in the Gaza Strip, published on its website, UNRWA warned that the blockade imposed by the Israeli occupation on Gaza for more than 50 days is leading to a rapid depletion of essential humanitarian supplies, including food, fuel, medical aid, and children's vaccines.
She noted that since the ceasefire collapsed, the occupying forces have escalated their air, land, and sea bombardment of the Gaza Strip and expanded the scope of their ground operations, resulting in hundreds of casualties, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, and widespread displacement.
