Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said he visited the northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday, without providing further details, according to Reuters.
This comes as the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip continues.
The number of Israeli soldiers protesting the ongoing war in Gaza is also increasing, with calls for an end to the war continuing. Discontent is mounting over the continued presence of detainees in the Strip, prompting the army to change its policy toward protesting soldiers, subsequently conducting a dialogue with them during the Passover holiday.
Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Tuesday that the army command will hold talks with soldiers who signed protest letters demanding a resolution to the detainees' issue, even if it means ending the war.
