The ministry confirmed that the ongoing blockade has prevented the entry of vaccines, jeopardizing polio control efforts, as 42% of childhood vaccinations are unavailable.

The occupation's destruction of CT and MRI scanners has deprived patients of diagnostic services, while the Rafah crossing has been closed, preventing 13,000 patients and wounded from receiving specialized treatment outside the Gaza Strip.

The Gaza Health Ministry called for urgent international action to rescue Gaza's collapsing health system and allow the immediate entry of essential medical supplies, warning of catastrophic consequences threatening the lives of civilians as the war continues.
