Four civilians were killed and others injured Monday evening in sporadic Israeli airstrikes on areas in the cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. This brings the death toll since dawn today to more than 45, including children and women.
According to local sources, citizen Mamdouh Kamel Shurab was killed after being targeted by a drone near the car market south of Khan Yunis, while citizen Muhammad Saeed Abdul Shafaq Al-Abadlah was killed in another drone strike in the Al-Iqlimiya area southwest of the city.
Citizen Nashat Ahmed also died of wounds he sustained last night in a bombing that targeted a house in the Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Yunis. Medical sources reported that the body of martyr Mohammed Al-Abadlah arrived at Nasser Medical Complex after he was targeted by Israeli aircraft in the Al-Shakoush area northwest of Rafah.
In a related development, two civilians sustained varying degrees of injuries in a drone strike targeting a motorcycle east of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
According to medical sources, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to more than 45 since dawn today, amid escalating Israeli aggression.
It's worth noting that the occupation forces have continued their aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of 50,752 citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 115,475 others, according to a preliminary toll. Ambulance and rescue crews remain unable to reach a large number of victims trapped under the rubble and in the streets.
