At least 10 civilians, including a journalist, were killed and others injured early Monday morning in Israeli shelling of various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes bombed a tent for journalists near Nasser Medical Complex Hospital in Khan Yunis, killing journalist Hilmi al-Faqawi and young man Yousef al-Khazindar, and wounding journalists Ahmed Mansour, Hassan Islayh, Ahmed al-Agha, Mohammed Fayeq, Abdullah al-Attar, Ihab al-Bardini, Mahmoud Awad, Majed Qadih, and Ali Islayh, with various injuries, some of them serious.
She added that the occupation forces bombed two houses west of Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip, killing two civilians and wounding others.
Local sources said that Israeli drones targeted a group of citizens on Wadi Al-Arayes Street in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, resulting in the martyrdom of three citizens: Ghassan Bassam Al-Anqar, Awad Jamal Al-Harazin, and Saeed Ashour Daghmash.
She added that the occupation also bombed Masoud Street in the Al-Jurn area north of Gaza City, leading to the martyrdom of the young man Abdul Karim Akram Muqbil.
Two citizens were killed and others were injured in the occupation's bombing of Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.
Since October 7, 2023, the occupying forces have launched an aggression against the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 50,695 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 115,338 others, according to a preliminary toll. A number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, with ambulance and rescue crews unable to reach them.
