Raids and arrests in the West Bank

Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of raids and arrests in the West Bank at dawn on Monday.


Security sources reported that occupation forces stormed the western part of Nablus from the Sarra checkpoint, and the eastern part from the Beit Furik checkpoint.


She added that the occupation forces attacked a vehicle and smashed its windows in the Al-Makhfiya area. They also raided and searched a number of homes and arrested citizen Fouad Darwish.


She noted that occupation forces stormed Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, and explosions were heard inside the camp. They raided and searched several homes there, but no arrests or injuries were reported.


In Ramallah, occupation forces stormed Jalazone camp, raided dozens of homes, blew up their doors, destroyed their contents, and arrested the young men: Yousef Munther Alian (25 years old), Yousef Ghawanmeh, Qassam Iyad Duwaik, and Abdullah Mubarak.


The occupation forces also turned the home of Tayseer al-Zubaidi into a military barracks and an interrogation center for the young men they detained.

In Al-Amari camp, large forces of the occupation army stormed the camp and surrounded its entrances, before raiding and searching a number of homes. No arrests were reported.


In Qalqilya, occupation forces arrested Qusai Maskawi, Fares Awda, Wissam Nasoura, Obada Qutash, and the brothers Sajid, Ismail, and Ghassan Jibril, after raiding and searching their homes.


In Hebron, forces arrested the young man Hamza Muhammad al-Qawasmeh from the city of Hebron, and the child Yusef Muhammad Salman al-Amla from the town of Beit Ula, northwest of Hebron, after raiding their parents' homes.
