A general strike swept across the country's governorates on Monday, denouncing the ongoing Israeli aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip and demanding an end to the massacres and bombing of civilians' homes, hospitals, and shelters.

The strike called for by national and Islamic forces in the northern governorates, coinciding with a global movement calling for a comprehensive strike around the world to demand an end to the war of extermination in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with our people, has paralyzed all aspects of life. Universities, schools, banks, shops, and governmental and civil institutions have been closed, amid calls from the masses to continue their confrontation with the occupation.

The strike included public transportation in the northern governorates, leaving streets empty of vehicles and pedestrians, and factories and workshops closed.

Activists on social media platforms have launched calls for a comprehensive strike around the world in solidarity with the people of the Gaza Strip in the face of the war of extermination being waged by the Israeli occupation forces.
