Washington, D.C., witnessed a massive demonstration attended by thousands of activists and members of Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim communities from most states, denouncing the criminal war waged by the Israeli occupation state against the Palestinians and pressuring the administration of President Donald Trump to rein in the extremist right-wing Israeli government's continued crimes.
During the demonstration, one of the largest since October 2023, activists expressed their rejection of the arrest and persecution of students who support Palestinian rights at American universities. They also called for an end to US military and financial support for the occupying state, which contributes to the continuation of the "genocide" in Gaza.
As a symbolic image of the crimes committed in the Gaza Strip, activists placed children's shoes on the streets leading to the White House, representing part of the stories of the thousands of children who were martyred in Gaza during this aggression. They also raised a huge banner bearing the names of the martyrs.
Other US cities witnessed demonstrations against the war and the escalating Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, as part of the "Global Day of Action" to demand an immediate end to the war.
