Al-Houthi: One killed and four injured in US raids targeting a store and a house in Saada.

Houthi media reported that one person was killed and four others were injured on Saturday evening, following raids launched by US warplanes on the city of Saada, northern Yemen, targeting a shop and a home.

The Houthi-affiliated Al Masirah channel said in a brief statement on its Telegram channel, citing its correspondent: "An American aggression targeted the Hafsin area, west of Saada city, with four raids."

She added that the raids targeted a store selling solar energy equipment and panels and a neighboring house.

The channel noted that civil defense teams were "working to extinguish fires and retrieve victims" from the raids, before later announcing that one person had been killed and four others injured, according to a preliminary toll.

Earlier on Saturday, US aircraft launched two additional airstrikes on the Kahlan area of Saada city, according to the Houthi-affiliated Saba News Agency, without providing further details.

Houthi sources did not mention whether the two raids resulted in any casualties or provide any other details.

Since March 15, Anadolu Agency has monitored hundreds of US airstrikes on Yemen, killing 67 civilians and wounding at least 146 others, including children and women, according to Houthi data that does not include casualties from the group's forces.

The statistics also do not include the Houthis' Saturday claim that "dozens" were killed and wounded in a US airstrike on the western province of Hodeidah, which targeted Eid al-Fitr celebrants. The statement did not mention a specific date or number of casualties.

The US raids come after President Donald Trump ordered his country's military to launch a "major offensive" against the Houthi group in Yemen, before threatening to "completely eliminate the Houthis."

While the group ignored Trump's threat, it resumed bombing sites inside Israel and ships heading to the country in the Red Sea, in response to Tel Aviv's resumption of its war of extermination against Palestinians in Gaza since March 18.

With full American support, Israel has been committing genocidal crimes in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 165,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.
