Three civilians were killed and others injured on Saturday evening in two airstrikes launched by Israeli warplanes on the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Local sources reported that Israeli drones targeted a group of civilians in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood with two airstrikes, killing three.

For the second consecutive day, the Shuja'iyya neighborhood is being subjected to a ground military assault, the third since the start of the genocidal war on Gaza in 2023. Israeli forces are positioned on and around Al-Muntar Hill, while another offensive is underway on Mansoura Street.

Eyewitnesses added that the occupation forces are continuously firing their machine guns and artillery shells at the south of Mansoura Street, Wadi Al-Arais Street, and the area of Hajj Adel Al-Shawa's orchard, in addition to Al-Sikka Street in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, given its proximity to Wadi Al-Arais Street. The eastern areas of Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, "Al-Rayes orchard and the vicinity of Tunis School," are also being subjected to continuous artillery shelling from time to time.
