Israeli occupation army announces the targeting of more than 60 sites in Gaza to prepare the ground for a ground invasion.

An Israeli military spokesman announced Thursday that his forces had carried out more than 600 airstrikes on targets in the Gaza Strip, noting that these attacks were part of "preparing the ground" for an imminent ground operation.

He also confirmed that military operations would continue gradually until "all detainees, living and dead, are freed," he claimed.

In a related development, the spokesman admitted to carrying out airstrikes in Syria, targeting sites he said contained weapons that he claimed posed a threat to Tel Aviv.

He added that his forces encountered some "saboteurs" during their operations and eliminated them. He also noted that Tel Aviv "maintains ambiguity" in its military operations to surprise its enemies, according to his claims.

Regarding Lebanon, the spokesman held the Lebanese army responsible for what is happening within its territory, stressing the continuation of military operations "to protect the security of Israeli settlers" and prevent the deployment of any hostile forces in southern Syria, indicating the ongoing escalation in the region.
