A child was killed and several others were injured by live bullets from the Israeli occupation forces during their raid on the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, on Wednesday evening.
Local sources said that the occupation forces stormed the town with several armored vehicles, and positioned themselves at the entrance to the town and deployed their forces in its streets, and fired live bullets at the citizens, which led to the martyrdom of the child Omar Amer Zioud (15 years old), after being shot in the chest, and he was transferred to Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin, which announced his martyrdom, and a number of them were injured, amid the outbreak of clashes.
The Red Crescent Society said that its crews transported an 18-year-old man who was injured by live bullets in his hand, and another 17-year-old boy who was injured by live bullet shrapnel in his foot. It confirmed that it was informed of a serious injury and that they were transported in a private vehicle.
With the death of Zayoud, the number of martyrs in Jenin Governorate since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the city and camp of Jenin 72 days ago has risen to 35 dead and dozens of injuries.
