Today, Monday, the Israeli occupation forces notified a woman from the village of Al-Walaja, northwest of Bethlehem, that she must pay the costs of demolishing her home, even though she had demolished it at her own expense in 2017.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces notified citizen Hanan Mahdi Al-Razem to pay 18,000 shekels to cover the cost of demolishing her home, which she had demolished at her own expense eight years ago.

She added that Hanan was forced to demolish her home after being threatened with paying the costs if the occupation forces did.

It's worth noting that the occupation forces have recently escalated their repeated attacks on citizens in Walaja, specifically the Ain Huwaiza area, including the demolition of a number of homes and the threat of construction halts for others.
