On the first day of Eid al-Fitr, Israeli occupation forces deployed throughout the streets and neighborhoods of Tulkarm, harassing residents and children.
Local sources reported that occupation forces, with their vehicles and infantry units, were stationed in the southern neighborhood, specifically on the old Education Directorate Street, in addition to the area surrounding Gamal Abdel Nasser Square in the city center, and near the French bakery in the eastern neighborhood, obstructing the movement of vehicles and civilians.
She added that the occupation soldiers stopped vehicles, imposed strict search procedures, and prevented them from passing through the areas in which they were located. They also pursued children while they were playing in the streets, seizing their plastic toys, in a scene that reflects the continued pressure on residents in light of the ongoing aggression on the city and its two camps for the 63rd consecutive day.
