Lebanon's Hezbollah denied on Saturday any involvement in the rocket fire from southern Lebanon towards Israel.
Hezbollah said in a statement: "It denies any connection to the launching of rockets from southern Lebanon into the occupied Palestinian territories," stressing that "the Israeli enemy's allegations come within the context of pretexts for continuing its attacks on Lebanon, which have not stopped since the announcement of the ceasefire."
According to the statement, Hezbollah affirmed its commitment to the ceasefire agreement and that it stands behind the Lebanese state in addressing this dangerous Zionist escalation against Lebanon.
The Israeli occupation army announced this morning, Saturday, that its air defense system intercepted missiles fired from Lebanon toward the settlement of Metula, without causing any injuries or damage. This is the first such attack since December 2024.
