The Palestinian Prisoners Club said that the administration of Ganot Prison, formerly known as Nafha and Rimon prisons, recently carried out repression operations from the Yamaz units on one of the sections, assaulting the prisoners and tightly and tightly tying them up with the aim of torturing them, which led to blood coming out of their hands.
He added in a statement on Thursday that the Israeli prison administration fired sound bombs inside the section, making this raid one of hundreds of raids targeting prisoners, which have escalated since the start of the war of extermination.
He pointed out that repressive operations in various prisons are being carried out at an increasing pace, to tighten control over detainees and torture them. According to a series of recent visits, there has been an increase in the frequency of the use of sound bombs, as well as rubber bullets, as happened in the Negev prison, in addition to the use of police dogs.
The Prisoners Club added that the issue of handcuffs (shackles) is one of the most prominent tools used by the Son system to abuse and torture detainees, as well as many tools it used to torture them. Since the beginning of the war of extermination, this issue has emerged primarily in the testimonies of detainees, and focused on how the occupation forces used shackles to abuse them during arrest. This included all categories of detainees, including children and women, who were detained for hours, the sick and wounded, and those suffering from motor disabilities. According to their testimonies, the shackles of some detainees continued for days before they were transferred to interrogation centers or prisons.
