The Arab Parliament condemns the occupation's decision to stop the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip
The Arab Parliament condemned the Israeli occupation's decision to stop the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, and considered it a new war crime and a crime against humanity added to the record of the occupation's crimes against the Palestinian people.
The Arab Parliament stressed, in a statement issued on Sunday evening, that this decision represents a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, and a clear breach of international covenants and agreements that guarantee the flow of humanitarian aid to civilians in times of conflict.
It called on the international community, especially the Security Council and the United Nations, to assume their responsibilities and take urgent action to compel the Israeli occupation to allow the immediate and unconditional entry of aid and ensure sustainable access to it, warning against endangering the lives of innocent people by using the weapon of starvation against the Palestinian people, especially as we are in the holy month of Ramadan.
