Israeli raids and arrests in the West Bank
The Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of raids and arrests in the West Bank at dawn and this Sunday morning.
In Qalqilya, the occupation forces arrested the citizen Jalal Hilan, after raiding and searching his house, while they stormed the village of Baqa al-Hatab, raided a house belonging to the Abdul Ghani family, and arrested a woman whose identity is not yet known.
The occupation forces also tightened their military measures at the checkpoints surrounding the city of Qalqilya, and set up a surprise checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Habla, south of Qalqilya, and hindered the movement of citizens.
In Hebron, the occupation forces arrested the young man Majd Ahmed Shaaban Al Hindi (20 years old), after raiding and searching his family’s home in the town of Beit Ummar.
These forces stormed a number of citizens' homes in the town, searched them, and ransacked their contents.
The occupation forces also raided the towns of As-Samu and Yatta, south of Hebron, and set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Khursa, and maintained their closure of the entrances to the towns and camps, and in the city of Hebron with iron gates.
In Bethlehem, the occupation forces stormed Beit Fajjar and raided and searched residential apartments in the Jaber building, without any arrests being reported.
In Ramallah, the occupation army raided a number of citizens' homes in Rantis and Jalazone camp, searched them and ransacked their contents, without reporting any arrests or injuries.
In Nablus, the occupation forces stormed the Old City and the Martyrs' Roundabout with military reinforcements, and drove their vehicles through a number of nearby streets, without any reports of house raids or confrontations.
The occupation forces also stormed Balata camp, and their vehicles razed several streets, without any arrests being reported.
