Two killed in Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon
The Lebanese National News Agency reported today, Saturday, that two people were killed and two others were injured in a raid carried out by an Israeli drone that targeted the town of Rab Thalatheen in Nabatieh Governorate.
The agency added that Israel bombed the town and fired towards the Taybeh project.
Earlier today, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported three injuries in an Israeli strike on a car in Majdal Zun in southern Lebanon, including a seven-year-old child.
In turn, the Israeli army announced on Saturday that it had carried out a series of strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon after detecting “activities that posed a threat,” on the fourth day of the ceasefire between the two parties.
In a statement, the army listed four separate incidents that included “transferring combat equipment,” working at “a site...with Hezbollah missile platforms inside,” and working “within a missile production infrastructure,” noting that some of the strikes were carried out by the air force.
