Israeli army carries out a wave of air strikes on the southern suburb of Beirut

The Lebanese National News Agency said on Saturday that the Israeli army carried out a violent raid on Haret Hreik in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

On Saturday, the occupation army issued a warning to the residents of buildings in Haret Hreik in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital Beirut to evacuate them “immediately” in preparation for bombing them. Army spokesman Avichay Adraee said on the “X” platform, attaching maps in which buildings were marked in red, “To all residents present in the southern suburb area, specifically in the buildings specified in the attached maps and the buildings adjacent to them in Haret Hreik.”

He claimed that the residents of that area “are located near facilities and interests belonging to Hezbollah, and the IDF will act against them forcefully in the near future.” He added: “For your safety and the safety of your family members, you must evacuate these buildings and those adjacent to them immediately, and stay away from them at a distance of no less than 500 meters.”

On Friday, the Israeli army said it carried out four waves of raids in the southern suburbs of Beirut, claiming that it targeted “command headquarters, weapons depots, headquarters and terrorist structures.”
