Iranian Revolutionary Guard: Our confrontation with Israel has an international extension and we are using part of our capabilities in it
The commander-in-chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Major General Hossein Salami, said that Israel entered the confrontation with all its capabilities and energies, while Tehran is confronting Israel with "part of its capabilities."
He stressed that the confrontation with Israel is apparently concentrated in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, but its "political extension is international."
He pointed to the possibility of launching stronger strikes in light of the continued threat of an attack on Israel in response to its recent attack on Iran.
He added that the United States' achievement during the year of the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa is the destruction of its political image globally, according to his description.
The balance of power is changing.
Yesterday, the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Major General Hossein Salami, stated that the balance of power is changing in favor of the resistance, and that the Lebanese Hezbollah has been able to rebuild its capabilities in a “miraculous” way, as he put it.
Salami pointed out that despite the massacres committed by Israel over the past year, it did not achieve tangible gains on the ground due to the fierce resistance shown by the people of Gaza, who faced the largest military coalition in the world with limited resources.
In his speech before the Assembly of Experts, Salami said that Israel was wrong when it thought that Iran would not respond to its aggression.
The commander of the Revolutionary Guards described the "True Promise" operation as historic, considering that it demonstrated Iran's strong will to confront any attacks, as the operation "thwarted the regional and international alliances that support Israel, and destroyed the illusion of the Zionist entity's immunity forever."
Iran launched its first direct military attack on Israel on April 13, 2024, in an operation it called “True Promise.”
Tehran announced on its state television that it had launched drones and ballistic missiles from its territory towards Israeli targets, in response to an Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus on April 1, which killed a number of Iranian military leaders.
