Raids on the southern suburbs and Bekaa, and the killing of an Israeli soldier in the battles of southern Lebanon
On Thursday, the Israeli army expanded its large-scale aggression on Lebanon, which entered its 44th consecutive day, as the Israeli army spokesman issued bombing warnings to all residents in the southern suburb area, specifically in buildings in Ouzai, Haret Hreik, Tahwitat al-Ghadir, and Hadath Beirut.
The Ouzai area in Beirut witnessed a massive displacement movement after the Israeli threats that were followed by violent raids and attacks, as the Israeli air force bombed the Ouzai area, near Beirut International Airport, and the southern suburb of Beirut was exposed to a series of Israeli raids.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the raids on the Bekaa and Baalbek resulted in the deaths of 40 martyrs and 53 wounded. The Lebanese Ministry of Health had previously reported that the number of martyrs had risen to 3,050 and the number of wounded to 13,658 since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
In addition, Hezbollah continues to confront the Israeli forces penetrating areas in southern Lebanon and prevent their advance. It has also intensified its missile attacks on Israeli military sites and border towns, as well as launching missile barrages and carrying out drone attacks on Israeli territory.
The Israeli army announced targeting 20 Hezbollah sites in Baalbek and north of the Litani River, killing about 60 Hezbollah members in the past 24 hours. It also announced in a statement the death of a soldier in its ranks during the battles on the southern Lebanese border.
