Galant: Hezbollah has only 20% of its missile capabilities left
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant revealed today (Tuesday) that Hezbollah now only retains about 20 percent of the missile and shell capabilities it had before the war.
"I estimate that the remaining capacity of rockets and missiles is about 20 percent, and it is not organized in the way it was before, which allowed Hezbollah to fire large bursts of fire," Galant said during a visit to the IDF's Northern Command base in Safed.
Galant added: "There is a deep connection between our strike on Iran and what is happening to Hezbollah. Iran realizes that Hezbollah does not have the ability to respond, and Hezbollah realizes that it cannot rely on Iran."
The minister stressed that the Israeli ground operations in southern Lebanon aim to dismantle Hezbollah's infrastructure and return the residents of northern Israel to their homes.
He continued: "The Israeli army is achieving great accomplishments in Lebanon. We have succeeded in eliminating the chain of command and control of the party."
