UN: More than 1.2 million people displaced in Lebanon due to Israeli attacks

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees announced that more than 1.2 million people have been displaced in Lebanon as a result of Israeli ground and air attacks.


In a post on the X platform on Monday, she pointed out that nearly a month has passed since the "deadliest" Israeli air strikes on Lebanon.


She warned that Lebanon is still suffering from a humanitarian disaster, as a result of the Israeli aggression.


She reported that the Israeli attacks on Lebanon have so far caused the displacement of more than 1.2 million people, stressing the urgent need for humanitarian aid.
