14 Syrians killed in Israeli bombing of Syria
14 people were killed and 43 others were injured in an Israeli air strike that targeted several sites in Masyaf and the Homs countryside in central Syria last night.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the attack also caused extensive material damage.
According to a Syrian military source, the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression from the direction of northwestern Lebanon at around 23:20 on Sunday evening, targeting military sites in the central region.
The source confirmed that the Syrian air defenses intercepted the missiles and shot down some of them.
For his part, the director of the National Hospital in Masyaf, Faisal Haidar, stated that the number of victims reached 14 and the wounded 43, some of whom were in critical condition.
The aggression also caused severe damage to the Masyaf-Wadi Al-Uyun road, in addition to the outbreak of a large fire that firefighting teams are working to control.
