Three Lebanese killed in an Israeli raid on a fire truck in southern Lebanon

Three members of the Lebanese Civil Defense were killed and two others were injured, one of them critically, on Saturday evening, in an airstrike launched by Israeli occupation aircraft on a firefighting vehicle in the town of Frun, south of Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health said, "The initial toll of the Israeli occupation targeting a Lebanese Civil Defense team that was extinguishing fires sparked by recent Israeli raids in the town of Frun is the martyrdom of three paramedics and the injury of two others, one of whom is in critical condition."

The ministry condemned in a statement "this blatant Israeli attack that targeted a team in an official agency affiliated with the Lebanese state, noting that it is the second of its kind against an ambulance team in less than 12 hours."

It stressed that "the insistence of the Israeli occupation on accumulating such attacks prohibited by international law is nothing but confirmation of its barbarism and aggressive intentions that leave no room for accomplishing humanitarian tasks that are usually made possible in the most brutal and harshest wars."
