West Bank: Israeli Settlers attack south of Nablus

Dozens of settlers attacked the "Yatmawi" area near Mount Sabih in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, on Saturday evening, which led to clashes with young men.

According to local sources, dozens of settlers stormed the "Yatmawi" area near the mountain, which led to clashes with the town's youth, without any injuries being reported.

The town of Beita is subjected to repeated attacks by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers, following the forcible establishment of the "Avitar" settlement outpost on citizens' lands at the top of Mount Sabih.

Yesterday, Friday, the occupation forces killed the American solidarity activist of Turkish origin, Aisha-Nur Eji (26 years old), while she was participating alongside the people of the town of Beita in the weekly march against settlement, joining 17 martyrs who have risen in the town since the establishment of the "Avitar" outpost in May 2021.
