Israeli anger and criticism hold Netanyahu responsible for Israeli "prisoners' bodies" incident
Israeli criticism of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has escalated, holding him responsible for finding the bodies of six Israelis held by Hamas inside a tunnel in the Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip, amid calls for his resignation.
This came in Israeli reactions from politicians, after the Israeli army announced that it had found and returned the bodies of six Israeli detainees held by Hamas inside a tunnel in the Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip.
Hamas confirmed in a statement on Sunday that "the prisoners were killed by Israeli bombing, and President (Joe) Biden, if he cares about their lives, must stop his support for the enemy (Israel) and pressure it to end its aggression immediately (on Gaza)."
